Private Messages enabled for eXtremePPC members!

eXtremePPC users can now receive Private Messages (PM) from other registered users.

Users who activate this feature will see a new "view inbox" link in the nav box after logging in. This link will identify the number of waiting PMs (if any). Users also have the option of receiving a daily email informing them of of waiting messages.

Activation of this new feature is simple:

  • Log-in
  • Click on "my account"
  • Click on "edit" tab
  • Scroll down to "Private message settings"
  • Click on "Allow private messages" checkbox
  • Optionally select "Receive daily e-mail for unread messages" checkbox to receive e-mail notification for unread messages. Only one e-mail will be sent per day.

    To send a Private Message do one of the following:

  • Click on "write to author" link on any post or comment made by the user you wish to PM

    or

  • Click on the user's name anywhere you see it, then click "send private message"

    or

  • Click on "view inbox", then click on the "Write new message" button

    To read your Private Messages:

  • Click on "view inbox", then click on the any listed message
